The CZ Shooting Team wins ten individual medals at the IPSC European Championships

Members of the CZ Shooting Team won four gold, four silver, and two bronze medals in the individual events at the IPSC European Championships. They also brought home four European championship titles, five individual IPSC President’s Medals, and other notable finishes in team competitions, including four European team championship titles, from the Hungarian championships.

Uhersky Brod, Czech Republic (17 June 2026)

The 2026 European Handgun Championship, an open European championship in practical shooting according to IPSC rules, took place in the Hungarian town of Buzsak from May 30th to June 13th, 2026. Amid exceptionally strong competition from shooters around the world, members of the CZ Shooting Team—the international factory team of Česká zbrojovka a.s.—achieved outstanding results and won a total of ten individual medals using CZ firearms.

The main part of the competition took place from June 8th to 13th. A total of 24 challenging shooting stages were prepared for 1,644 shooters from more than 40 countries around the world. The new European champions Robin Sebo (OPEN), Eric Grauffel (OPTICS), Frantisek Blaha (PRODUCTION Super Junior), and Josef Rakusan (STANDARD Senior) contributed the most to the medal tally. Kahlil Adrian Viray also had overwhelming success, dominating the STANDARD division and winning the IPSC President’s Medal, which was awarded to the overall winners of each division regardless of the competitor’s nationality.

In the OPEN division, Robin Sebo had an exceptional performance and claimed the European championship title. Miroslav Havlicek took the bronze. In the Ladies category, Martina Sera added a silver medal. All of these shooters competed with CZ 75 TS CZECHMATE pistols.

French shooter Eric Grauffel added another European Championship title in the OPTICS division and topped the overall competition standings with the CZ TS 3 ORANGE pistol in hand.

The impressive talent of junior CZ Shooting Team member Frantisek Blaha was on display in the PRODUCTION division, where he finished on top in the Super Junior category and claimed the title of European Champion. The CZ SHADOW 2 pistol contributed to his success.

In the PRODUCTION OPTICS division, Edcel John Gino from the Philippines took second place in the overall standings. The highest-placed European shooter from the CZ Shooting Team was Martin Kamenicek, who won a bronze medal in the European rankings. In the Junior category, Robin Grauffel added a silver medal. All team members used CZ SHADOW 2 ORANGE OR pistols to compete in this division.

The CZ Shooting Team was also highly successful in the STANDARD division. The overall victory here went to Filipino shooter Kahlil Adrian Viray, who was awarded the IPSC President’s Medal for achieving the best result in the global rankings. Zdenek Liehne took second place in the European rankings. In the Senior category, Josef Rakusan won the European championship title, with another member of the CZ Shooting Team, Petr Znamenacek, finishing in second place. All shooters in the STANDARD division competed with CZ TS 2 ORANGE pistols.

The many victories achieved by members of the CZ Shooting Team were complemented by the impressive results of the Czech national team. In the OPEN division, the Czech Republic won with the team of Robin Sebo, Miroslav Havlicek, and Martina Sera. The Czech team also won gold in the STANDARD division, where Zdenek Liehne, Josef Rakusan, and Petr Znamenacek took part. The Czech Republic added a silver medal in the PRODUCTION OPTICS division, featuring, among others, CZ Shooting Team member Martin Kamenicek. CZ Shooting Team members competing for the French national team won two additional European championship team titles in the OPTICS (Eric Grauffel) and PRODUCTION OPTICS (Robin Grauffel) divisions.

CZ congratulates all members of the CZ Shooting Team on their achievements and thanks them for their outstanding representation of the CZ brand on the leading international sport shooting stage. CZ is also a global partner of the IPSC for the Handgun discipline and has long supported the development of practical shooting at the international level.
