- Czech Open 2026: CZ Shooting Team kicks off the season in great form
On April 4–5, 2026, the Oblekovice shooting range in the Czech Republic hosted the IPSC Level 3 international competition Czech Open, one of the first major events of this year’s season. CZ Shooting Team shooters claimed a total of seven medals, including six gold and one bronze, confirming their strong form at the very beginning of the year.
In the OPTICS division, Josef Rakusan dominated with a full score, winning not only the overall classification but also the Senior category.
Another victory for CZ Shooting Team came in the PRODUCTION OPTICS division, where Martin Kamenicek took first place, also using a CZ SHADOW 2 ORANGE OR.
CZ representatives were also successful in the STANDARD division. Zdenek Liehne secured first place, while Petr Znamenacek added a third-place finish and at the same time won the Senior category. Both shooters achieved their results with CZ TS 2 ORANGE pistols.
Another gold medal for CZ Shooting Team was delivered by Frantisek Blaha, who won the Junior category in the PRODUCTION division, competing with a CZ SHADOW 2.
CZ congratulates its team members on their excellent results and thanks the organizers for the high-quality preparation of the competition.
