CZ Introduces the All-New CZ DUTY Pistol

Česká zbrojovka (CZ) introduces the CZ DUTY, an entirely new generation of striker-fired pistols developed from the ground up with a focus on exceptional durability, safety, modularity, and intuitive handling. The new pistol platform is designed for demanding professional use, including the needs of armed forces, while also appealing to civilian users who expect high reliability and long-term durability from a modern pistol. It combines a patented modular chassis, a refined striker-fired trigger system, advanced ergonomics, and a direct-mount Optics-Ready interface. The result is a modern and highly adaptable pistol engineered for reliable, consistent performance under demanding use and high round counts.

At the heart of the new platform is the patented modular chassis, which houses all functional components of the firearm. It allows the pistol to be configured with different grip modules, barrel lengths, and magazine capacities to suit the needs of the individual user.

Equal attention was paid to safety. The CZ DUTY features multiple layers of mechanical safety, including a three-stage drop safety system, and is also available with an ambidextrous manual safety. The pistol can also be safely disassembled without pulling the trigger.

The patented striker-fired trigger system delivers very smooth travel, a crisp and clean break, and a short, easy-to-feel reset. The result is confident operation and repeatable performance shot after shot.

The CZ DUTY’s ergonomics were developed using advanced digital tools and CZ’s DiFEND methodology. Optimized grip geometry combined with improved texturing provides a secure, natural, and comfortable interface across a wide range of hand sizes. Three grip-module sizes allow shooters to further tailor the grip and trigger reach, while fully ambidextrous controls ensure comfortable operation for both right- and left-handed users without any modifications.

The improved direct-mount Optics-Ready interface allows a wide range of compatible red dot sights to mount directly to the slide without the use of adapter plates.

Engineered for Demanding Use

Proven durability is one of the defining characteristics of the CZ DUTY. CZ guarantees a 50,000-round service life or 25,000 rounds of overpressure ammunition (DM51 loaded to 30% higher pressure), including a 10,000-round no-parts-change period. It is a durability standard we stand behind.

The CZ DUTY underwent extensive testing based on NATO STANAG AC/225 methodology, including drop, water, and debris exposure testing. Manufacturing precision is verified throughout the production process, with more than 200 dimensions and tolerances measured on the slide alone. Each pistol is factory-tested for function and accuracy and zeroed at 25 meters.

Long-term durability is further supported by a patented in-house nitride finish, a rugged fiberglass-reinforced polymer frame, and a high-quality cold hammer forged barrel, which is backed by a lifetime warranty upon registration in the CZ Customer Club.
