Public interest in Czech Combat 2025 continues to grow

Czech Combat 2025, which brought professional and civilian shooters together at the Olesko shooting range in the Czech Republic, is now one of the largest shooting competitions in the region that features tactical elements as part of its program. Three high energy days filled with 12 challenging scenarios and more than 190 competitors from all over Europe confirmed that interest in this type of competition is high and continues to increase.

The Olesko shooting range hosted the second annual Czech Combat 2025 international shooting competition, which took place from 18 to 20 July 2025 under the auspices of Jana Cernochova, Minister of Defense of the Czech Republic.

More than 190 competitors from the Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Slovenia, and France participated in the competition. Czech Combat thus attracted not only professionals from the armed forces and active reserves who competed in various categories, but also civilian shooters with valid firearm licenses.

A total of 12 different scenarios, inspired by real-life training methods for members of the armed forces, tested participants in a wide range of skills that included close-range shooting, target recognition using drone video, combat in confined spaces, and shooting from various positions and ATVs. The program also featured exercises inspired by the CQB (Close Quarter Combat) situations and elements of TCCC (Tactical Combat Casualty Care), with a focus on tactical first aid in the field. Several scenarios made use of training ammunition, which allowed competitors to shoot with night vision goggles in darkened tents or in a specially modified double-decker bus.

An accompanying program included a lecture by the LEX association for protection of firearms rights about the new, upcoming firearms law, the opportunity to try out new CZ products at the shooting range, such as the CZ P-10 C PORTED and CZ SHADOW 2 CARRY, a display of historical firearms, and a lecture on modern methods of training service dogs. Time was also set aside for meetings, discussions, and an evening after-party.

We are already looking forward to the next edition of this unique competition.

CZ and Sellier & Bellot, as general partners, would like to thank all participants and organizers who contributed to the success of this event.
