Five gold medals from the USA: CZ Shooting Team triumphs at the 2025 US IPSC Nationals

The CZ Shooting Team achieved phenomenal success at this year's US practical shooting championship. At the prestigious 2025 Excaliber Ammunition US IPSC Nationals, which consisted of 24 challenging shooting stages, the team won a total of five gold medals. In fierce competition with hundreds of shooters from around the world, its representatives secured victories across the main divisions and categories – including Eric Grauffel's absolute triumph in the PRODUCTION OPTICS division and German Romitelli's dominant victory in the PRODUCTION division.

The IPSC US Practical Shooting Championship took place from August 22nd to 24th, 2025, at the Cardinal Shooting Center in Ohio. Hundreds of shooters from around the world competed in 24 uniquely designed and extremely challenging stages. This competition was also the last major test for sport shooters before the upcoming world championship – the 2025 IPSC Handgun World Shoot, which will take place in the second half of September in South Africa.

In the PRODUCTION OPTICS division, French phenomenon Eric Grauffel was clearly the star of the competition. The celebration was even greater when his son and teammate Robin Grauffel added another victory for the team in the Junior category. Both competed with the CZ SHADOW 2 ORANGE OR pistol. Filipino shooter Edcel John Gino finished fourth in the Overall category.

Another triumph was by Argentine shooter German Romitelli, who won a gold medal in the PRODUCTION division using the CZ SHADOW 2 ORANGE pistol.

Czech representative Martina Sera also took gold, dominating the Lady category in the OPEN division with a CZ 75 TS CZECHMATE pistol. Her teammate Robin Sebo took fifth place in the OPEN division, where he faced strong competition from 157 shooters.

The fifth victory for the CZ Shooting Team was added by experienced Czech shooter Petr Znamenacek, who dominated the Senior category in the STANDARD division with a CZ TS 2 ORANGE pistol.

CZ would like to thank all members of the CZ Shooting Team for their impressive representation of the CZ brand and wishes all shooters success at the upcoming 2025 IPSC Handgun World Shoot.
