How and at what age did you start with sport shooting and competing in the IPSC?
I started going to the shooting range with my father at the age of 10. He taught me how to shoot, and then I started competing in the IPSC a year later. I attended my first World Championship in 1996 at the age of 14. I was the youngest participant at the time, and of course, I had a CZ pistol in hand.

What do you like best about the IPSC?
It is a dynamic, attractive shooting discipline with a lot of movement. It requires speed, accuracy, and tactics.

Why did you choose CZ?
I got my first CZ pistol when I was very young. In fact, it’s made just a few miles away from my home. I tried other firearms, but CZ was the best for me – in terms of ergonomics, reliability, and quality. In my almost 30 years of competing, all of my successes have been with CZ pistols.

I recommend CZ to all shooters: you can't go wrong with it.

How and why did you join the CZ Shooting Team?
I first joined the CZ Shooting Team when I was 14 years old. Milan Trkulja, who recognized my talent, invited me to join the team and I think our time together was successful. We took a little break from each other in 2017, but after agreement with Jakub Sondel, Marketing Director at CZ, I'm back in the fold. I am very happy now and believe it will be mutually rewarding once again.

How do you prepare for a competition?
Of course, I try to shoot as much as possible, which works out to 5 times a week. An integral part of my training is maintaining physical fitness – strength and endurance – and a healthy lifestyle.

What is a best advice you were ever given?
I’ve received a lot of good advice over the years. My advice to others is, "The competition isn’t over until the last shot is fired.

What is your biggest success in the IPSC?
I have a total of 6 gold medals from the continental championships and a silver and bronze medal from the world championships. I consider all of them to be my greatest achievements.

How would you rate your weapon? (Handling, Accuracy, etc.)
CZ guns are accurate, reliable, and handle extremely well. I’m very happy with their durability and appreciate their attractive design.
